Bloomberg Reports On How Nebius AI Mega Factory Would Disrupt GBHS Oxmoor Campus
A story on Bloomberg.com recounts the many ways the Nebius AI Mega Factory under construction in the middle of an Oxmoor neighborhood could disrupt not only the humane society’s animal welfare campus, but also numerous neighbors, an elementary school, and people with disabilities.

Allison Black Cornelius, president and chief executive of GBHS — which served some 44,000 animals last year — said the group is concerned about industrial noise, vibration, heat, light and traffic affecting its campus and nearby neighbors, including an elementary school, a golf course and a center serving children and adults with disabilities.
Data-center noise has been the source of several lawsuits, and with dogs able to hear much better than humans, Cornelius said she can’t subject animals “living in a kennel trying to recover from surgery, gunshots and abuse” to continuous low-frequency hum.
