2. Attend Public Meetings

   Decisions like this often move quickly and quietly unless people show up.

   Zoning Board hearings, Steering Committee meetings, City Council sessions, and neighborhood meetings are where the future of Oxmoor will actually be decided, and public comment is welcome at most of them.

   If you've signed up for our email list, we'll tell you when and where to be.

   A room full of citizens paying attention changes the conversation.

3. Contact Your Representatives

   Let your City Council member know where you stand. (Click here to find your representative.) Elected officials respond to constituent pressure — especially when it comes from across the political spectrum.

   Be specific: ask about the tax abatement terms, the water-use impact study, and why Nebius was allowed to file its permit before the so-called moratorium took effect. This website is based on established facts. You can rely on it for additional information.

4. Spread The Word

   Share this site and its resources with your neighbors, on social media, and in community groups. Many Birmingham residents have no idea what's being planned in the Oxmoor Neighborhood. The more people who know, the harder it is to push this project through without scrutiny.
